The BIAA photographic collection comprises a large number of images in various formats, including slides, negatives and prints. They depict archaeological monuments, sites, artefacts, landscapes and people in Türkiye. The majority of the photographs date from the 1950s to the early 1990s and were taken in connection with projects sponsored by the BIAA. This collection consists of digitised slides and negatives. Data exported from old bespoke database and the verification process is ongoing. The Digital Repository office will continue to ingest and update this collection.
